About nanny.nu
Nanny.nu was founded in 2007 and is Sweden's largest babysitting company in terms of turnover. In 2022, we were granted permission by IVO (Inspektionen för vård och omsorg) to conduct LSS activities within companion service (LSS 9 § 3) and replacement service in the home (LSS 9 § 5). We have approximately 670 employees, of which approximately 15 employees are based at the head office in Stockholm.
Our LSS service has newly started and so far (2023-01-27) five people work within it. We have just been approved as a supplier by Sollentuna municipality and Nacka municipality and are currently working in parallel with procurements in several municipalities in the Stockholm area. We believe in secure relationships that are based on continuity and predictability and we have a holistic approach to children's development. For example, we see the central importance of food and therefore like to focus a little extra on cooking together with the children. We also believe in social relationships and work actively to promote this by encouraging and urging participation in social contexts of various kinds, depending on the individual's interests. We use a range of communication tools depending on the needs of the individual. We speak Swedish and English, but feel free to ask us if you have other language requirements and we will do our best to find an employee with that competence.
We love children and for us it is a matter of course that we do everything in our power to create the best possible conditions for a developing, safe and joyful context where all children get the best possible conditions in life in their quest to become independent individuals. Although children are our primary target group, we are happy to help adults as well.
