What does a babysitter cost in Sweden?
A babysitter via Nanny.nu costs from 199 SEK per hour after the RUT tax deduction. The full rate starts at 398 SEK per hour — Sweden's RUT deduction gives you a 50% reduction, up to 75,000 SEK per person per year.
The price includes salary, employer contributions, accident insurance, background check via the Swedish Police, CPR certification, and your personal nanny specialist. The more hours you use through your Time Bank, the lower the hourly rate.
