Childcare as an Employee Benefit
Offer your employees trusted childcare - we handle matching, employment, and administration with zero HR overhead.
Childcare as an employee benefit means the company offers its employees access to Nanny.nu's matching service. Each employee gets their own matched babysitter, employed by Nanny.nu with pension and insurance - the company handles zero administration.
Why forward-thinking employers offer childcare
Employee benefits have evolved beyond gym memberships and fruit bowls. Companies competing for talent - especially parents - are discovering that childcare support is one of the most impactful benefits they can offer.
The math is simple. Parents who can't find reliable childcare are distracted, stressed, and more likely to leave. Parents who have it handled are focused, loyal, and present. Childcare as a benefit isn't a cost - it's a retention and productivity investment.
Nanny.nu makes this easy for employers. We handle the complexity - matching, employment, insurance, administration - while your employees get access to professional, personalized childcare.
How it works for the company
You choose a package based on your size and needs. Each participating employee gets access to Nanny.nu's full matching service: a personal advisor, a matched babysitter selected for their family, and a Time Bank of hours to use as needed.
The babysitter is employed by Nanny.nu - not by the company and not by the employee. Pension, insurance, payroll, and tax deductions are all handled. Your HR team's involvement is limited to enrollment and billing.
Monthly reports provide visibility into usage patterns without compromising employee privacy. You see aggregate data and per-employee summaries (anonymized if preferred), so you can demonstrate ROI and adjust the program as needed.
What employees experience
From the employee's perspective, the benefit feels personal, not corporate. They get a dedicated advisor who understands their family's needs. They meet their matched babysitter and build a relationship. They use their hours flexibly - evenings, weekends, school holidays, whenever care is needed.
Employees can also purchase additional Time Bank hours privately, extending the benefit beyond what the company provides. The transition between company-funded and private hours is seamless.
Implementation timeline
From contract signing to employees using the service typically takes two to four weeks. We provide onboarding materials, run introduction sessions, and begin matching as soon as employees sign up. There's no complex IT integration or lengthy procurement process.
